Brazil and Europe: Sovereignty or Dependence?
The seminar was organized by the Department of Social and Political Studies and the “Europe–BRICS” Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in partnership with the BRICS+ Forum for Strategic Technology, and focused primarily on Brazil’s position within the dynamics of economic, technological, political, and cultural dependence in relation to Europe and the West.
With a focus on global inequalities in technological power, the event brought together academic panels, lectures, and other activities on digitalization, digital sovereignty, technological and demographic transitions, and cognitive defense. The II Conference will have the theme of Integration and Integrity in Brazil, the Global South, the BRICS+ countries, and the world .
