Strategy, Data, and Sovereignty
from the Group of Studies and Research in International Security of the Institute of International Relations at the University of Brasília (GEPSI IREL UnB)
The partnership with the Strategy Working Group strengthens the production of strategic inputs for the BRICS+ Forum for Strategic Technology. GEPSI is an academic initiative dedicated to studying international security issues through interdisciplinary approaches, encompassing topics such as diplomacy, digital governance, and data protection. With a holistic focus that integrates political, technical, and regulatory dimensions, the Working Group develops theoretical foundations, computational tools, and multisectoral strategies for data governance and the preservation of national sovereignty, directly contributing to expanding the impact of the Forum's projects in the Global South.
